Downtown Asheville is synonymous with serendipity and fun, thanks to the Downtown Association’s efforts in organizing vibrant, distinct, festive and free events that bring the community together.

Asheville Holiday Jamboree

Asheville Holiday Jamboree

Due to Hurricane Helene, we are making some changes to the format of the Annual Holiday Parade. This year, we are pivoting to a Holiday Jamboree in Pack Square Park. Having the event in one place will allow the City of Asheville to devote more staff and infrastructure to the Hurricane Helene response.

Group performances and bands will be able to perform on the Pack Square Stage. Performances will be short (up to 5 minutes). Organizations that were planning on decorating floats can choose to have a 10×10 tent space. Space for decorative tents will be limited to 50. We will also have a market for local businesses and food trucks.
